    ... tile, terrazzo, granite, worn glass... I kept a piece of granite to carry to the Cruz de Ferro. I wandered all day to stay awake and force myself on to Spain time. Found some of the Gaudi sights that I intended to by the evening. I am in town at the tail end of a music festival.     ... fees. Judged it perfectly, with a 23kg, a 22.5kg and quite a bit in hand luggage to stay within the 23kg limit. Aussie was doing a bit too well while we waited to board.

    ... we just have our cameras, just in case).

    The evening ends with us eating at a restaurant along the Passeig de Gracia called 'Madrid Barcelona'. A good choice it seems as it starts out quietly, then many locals come eat and go, then becomes quiet again as we sit and take in the atmosphere and finish our Rioja and Olave, a local liqueur, but it burns like Grappa. Still a nice finish to the evening.

    ... but of course we were tired by this time, it was 4.30pm and we still had no lunch so we had a quick slice of pizza and a beer and we were refueled again :-). We ended up stubbing across to La Ramblas unintentionally haha and as suspected it was insanely busy full of tourists and over priced restaurants.
