... Lotte department store. I know – I would never have found it without the recommendation, but this was the most fun we had of any of our meals in China!

With some help from a friendly girl at the next table, we ordered a half & half soup, and lots of yummy ingredients to cook in it. We also enjoyed the acrobatic production of our single 4yuan noodle, hand pulled with love by the server!

Today we visited the Art district in
Beijing, it's called Dashanzi Art District or 798 Art District. This area used to be all old
factories, but now it has been turned into art galleries and small
shops. Walking down the different allies one can tell there's long
history behind the place. There were many old buildings and garages
that have now turned into art galleries where Chinese artists display
and sell their work. ...

The flight took us up the west coast of Canada, over Alaska, then down the Kamchatka Peninsula, over Korea and then for 1,000s of miles over China. I was surprised that we didn't fly over the ocean, but it makes sense because you do the same thing when you fly to England, that is, fly north over Greenland. The world is smaller up there.
