... for the $1000 deductible to keep the cost down. With the various tests they did, it probably will end up costing us the full deductible. Despite that, I'm sure glad we decided to buy insurance! You just never know.
Although I wasn't impressed with the wait time before even being triaged, from what I hear about Calgary ER's we got pretty quick treatment in comparison. It will be interesting to see what the entire event ended up costing.
A game of Bananagrams broke out, and we all played in teams of two or three. I was with Sven and Beth and am proud to say that we won one of the two games I played. It was incredibly fun and we all laughed so much. I enjoy the game in America, but I must say that it is more entertaining to play with a group of people from around the world.

Well, we are becoming very well settled in here. The soak in the hot tub each evening, the quiet chats lounging around the table and time to sit and read are very relaxing.
To day was OUTLET MALL day! We traveled to Palm Springs and then under grey skies, chilly rain and very cold winds, we wandered in and out of shops like, Van Huesen, Tommy Hillfiger, Coach, Prada, ...
... to Palm Springs we hit a dust storm which closed the road leading to our hotel. We had to drive around town a bit, but it didn't cause too much of a problem as we just went to Koffis (again) for a couple of coffees. We spent the evening in relaxing, watching tv and waiting for the next natural disaster to hit!
