... You can't see a house, a hotel or any commercial enterprise. The wide beach is about a kilometre long and has lava outcroppings on either end. There a palm trees, cacti and other greenery all along, at some points offering a bit of shade. It has a nice surf, perfect sand and not a big drop off.
