Started out with breakfast in the hotel, then onto the bus for a tour of Sydney. We drove all over the city while Maree pointed out various sites. For the first time this trip we got a "lemon" of a bus driver. He was awful and right off the bat had a run in with poor Maree. ... The comics could live there while they were working for the government ...they also had a chance to work on their own a few days a week. The most interesting thing about the Hyde Park barracks is that the rats used to Store artifacts and bring them back to their rat dens... this saved a lot of the artifacts that are used the museum ...

... This German-made documentary from 1996 comforted us by showing how friendly the people were. We also found in Lonely Planet one sentence about Okiboma that mentioned that huts were available for tourists for a very reasonable $10 a night. The pieces were falling in place. ... formation and then down the great staircase (about 1000 steps so you really feel the burn - thank goodness we didn't go up!) and then hiked along the valley with Victor acting as unofficial tour guide! We got to the railway and took the very steep train ride up and rewarded ourselves with coffee and cake. It was so great to be out in the fresh air doing a trek and we are very grateful for Victor for taking us twice!
