... this was the morning that the wifi decided to play silly buggers and the iPad decided not to display any emails. Anyway we decide to risk it - we needed a car regardless. Off to Heathrow and we remember that while we aren't sure who we booked with, it was through Qantas so there are only really three options. Nope no booking ... Still not sure how it happened as we both remember sitting at the computer and doing it. Unfortunately we had to pay through the nose for the car. Oh ...

... learned that the area of the labrynith was able to survive with no water. Wow!!!! Following this visit to the gardens we headed to manchester to see my sister, brother in law and niece and nephew. The GPS was great and took us on the country roads to avoid the traffic. We enjoyed a wonderful Shabbat dinner together and the kids are having fun playing and catching up. Now for a restful Shabbat Shabbat ...

... The final flight of an historic cold war supersonic British Vulcan bomber happened to occur during our lunch as the cherry on top.
Our exploration of the palace grounds was heightened by the presence of the illustrator for 'The Gruffalo' book series. We were able to act the role of the privileged 18th century aristocracy, playing ring toss and lawn bowling, wandering the gardens, all with Gruffalo inspired activities for the kids interest.

... br> We had lunch at Nando's. It's come a long way since we last had Nando's in Australia about 10 years ago. It was pretty classy, compared to what we remembered.

Then we headed back into the city, to a major train station, so that we could get this railcard sorted out. After some confusion it was done, and our ticket to Liverpool for tomorrow was also bought. At this point we decided to flag the other museum visit. It wasn't yet 3, and it was in fact sunny and nice, but ...

... we will spend a few days exploring the city, or in my case probably sleeping the first day (never can sleep on planes). I've been really excited to experience a Thai massage as I've heard they are amazing although a little painful. So the plan is to have one as soon as possible.
