Goldfish and I discuss a plan of action over a delicious breakfast of bacon stuffed pancakes at the famous Richard Walker Pancake House. **** it. Let's go for it. ... which was a bargain by the way. When we manage to drag ourselves away about 5 hours later we drive to Long Beach where we are spending our last night in California at the Varden hotel. It's not big and flashy but its compact, stylish and boutiquey and the receptionist is so cute and bubbly it's like this is the sunniest place in town. It is also very sunny today but that's not the point. We ...
