Chicago was an amazing surprise. You think industrial city (known for car manufacturing) but downtown Chicago is gorgeous. Well set out with an excellent shopping strip called "the magnificent mile" (much better than 5th Avenue in New York). At night they light EVERY tree with fairy lights and the range of restaurants is staggering. Spend the extra few dollars (or find a deal) and stay in the centre of downtown ...
... Bit of a posh gaff and the food was yummy!!! We sat and watched the world go by for a while. We saw pimped up Bentleys all zooped up Fast and Furious style. One even had Louis Vuitton logos all over it with doors that opened up like a Delorian! It was fascinating!
After a long day driving we decided to turn in. The walk back to the hotel was somewhat hurried and we were both asleep early ready to explore the city a bit more and continue our journey the next ...
