Murray has had enough snorkelling for the day, but Dianne decides to have another go, venturing a fair way out in fairly shallow water, but doesn't see a lot, but it was just as good as the earlier swim. On the way back through the lava-rock passage to the entry spot, she nearly gets caught by the "wave of the day", but manages to see it in time, and waits for it to go before coming in.

    Up at 0830 to a scrambled egg and Portuguese blood sausage brekkie, with fresh squeezed orange juice. We decide to check out Lahaina, about 40 minutes drive from our place - dramatic coastal rd.
