    Second day at SEA Semester.
We had the usual intro to courses, syllabus, book, materials and so on. But the highlight of the day was the visit to the library of Woods Hole. There we had the chance to see books as old as the 1500s, depicting illustrations and ...

Arrived on campus and made my way to the house. We are 18 students in total, 2 houses of 9 students each. On the first floor there is a large kitchen and living room, a bathroom and a bedroom. that we had to park our car in Falmouth, a 10 minute shuttle ride to the dock.
Our ferry was scheduled to leave at 10:45 am, so we still arrived with plenty
of time to spare. It's a 45 minute ride to Martha's Vineyard.

As soon as we set foot in Vineyard Haven, the sun popped out from behind the
clouds. The first 5 mile portion of our bike ride would take us to Oak ...

... sweaty and ready to do some serious sitting. We were the first of what would be a middle aged couple and a couple of parents with their three small children. We were met with Bob, who has been on island and working for the Trustees organization for about three decades.

The reserve represents the last frontier of Nantucket—its remoteness and wetlands prevented the area from being developed during the great whaling years. Today, its still pretty ...
