November 21, 2013 Thursday-We were up early, showered and had breakfast – non for James and a large smoothie for me. Checked and rechecked suitcases – my big one weighed 49 lbs! And my pack was 19 lbs! The shuttle picked us up right on time and then picked up another couple nearby - Turns out they were headed for Portland Oregon and one was OSU Alma Mater and other was U of O – same as James and me, so we had a fun ...
... the walk. Around 4 we left and headed to Wellesley to Ed Buckley’s wake. It is 20 miles away and took us over 1 ½ hours to drive with the traffic!! ... Phil’s coat, we did some bookwork and finally decided to drive to Needham to visit Volante Farms. This big operation was started a long time ago by the brother of Phil’s grandfather.
