... the rawness, the passion, the discipline, the fearlessness even from the 8 year olds and the technique each person had was incredible! ( not that we're experts- but you could tell!...They take no prisoners! ) Hua Hin is where the King of Thailands holiday home lies and was a great stay, maybe more so that we stayed with locals as we were shown places and told stories that we may not of heard if we hadn't stayed at my (Robyn) mums ...

After a painful Sunday with Thomas having picked up a stomach bug (probably from T eating street food with Dad watching Barcelona), we headed back to Bangkok only to be caught in the Queen's motorcade travelling back from the Royal retreat in Hua Hin... 6 hours later we got back to Bangkok. Painful weekend!

... a beer from our fridge, gee thanks, off I go walk no more than 150 yards and what do I find, a bar, pool table and later live music, don't believe all you hear when traveling. Have a good night in there playing pool with guys and girls with no English so I was a little quiet, don't worry o won't be when I return ha ha ha ha. Next morning order taxi to bus station, end up having him take me to Si Sa Ket, little more expensive but saves ...

5 Hours later

We finally made it to Hua Hin sweaty, hot and covered in dirt but it was soon payed off. We searched around for a decent place to stay and ended up at this cute little guesthouse called Victor's Guesthouse (very Thai sounding).The people who ran it were very nice and we ended up staying there for about 4 nights.Hua Hin is very laid back but filled with old couples.. haha mainly white guys with Thai girls ...

We set off early to get to the main bus station and two 10 baht buses later we were there. Our main bus ride from Bangkok to Phuket didn't leave until 5.30pm but we wanted to get there early as we hadn't bought tickets and needed to get them from there to be sure we could get to Phuket for the following day.
