I had a dispute with Alamo, the rental car company when i dropped the car off. i had booked the car for 10 days, and they tried to charge me for 11. Lucky for me the lady that checked me in loved my accent and was only to happy to refund the overcharge.

After marvellous sunny weather for our trip so far the last two days we have had overcast skies. Not quite the bluebird days we were hoping for but still high enough cloud that we could see the spectacular view from the top of Beaver Creek Mountain (3488m high). It was time to unpack the ski bags and try out our new skis.

Stephen headed up the hill in the morning to find his way around and check out the terrain. Me being the cautious one ...
