... the birds are singing, we just passed a lollop (Jean says the correct collective noun for Manatees is "aggregation" but I prefer "lollop") of about 14 Manatees (Ken's numbers not mine), the bridges are opening for us, and everything is perfect in Paradise. The Port engine just packed up, but hey, who's being picky?

... a few clouds in 25 days of sunny skies and lofty temps. Hopefully as we wend our separate ways North this weekend, the last of the snow will have vanished up north and we can break out the gardening tools and the Miata for the joys of spring in Niagara.
When I'm old and infirm and not able to do this any more, somebody please remind me that I had a fabulous time, the best possible winter in 2015, while I was still able for it!

LOTS of vacation rentals but not a lot of anything else really. Nice sandy beach but it's exposed to the harsh weather conditions. ... morning but not a single soul was sighted at the docks. I feared I may be trespassing on private land so I turned around and found my way back to the shell covered streets. Years ago the docks would take you further out in the bay where you could spot many old houseboats anchored at the piers. All of that has since disappeared.
