... me around Ocean Beach for a dip in the ocean and a drink for two. I loved Ocean Beach and after saying goodbye to family the next day over a returned few drinks, I was off, but only to Ocean Beach. I had to spend some more time there before I departed. After exploring more and finding a safe place to park that night, an unexpected friend called me and invited me to come stay with her for the weekend in Encinitas and chill. More beach fun, here I ...

... good (we got 2 adjoining rooms to save our sanity) and the food decent, albeit repetitive. ... off to the side of the road and untangled the mess. It just so happens that while staying in Hot Springs, AR, Uncle John had given Erika two extra bungee cords that she then passed on to Amanda to save the day! Thanks Uncle John!

At the beginning of the day we stopped at a McDonald's and ended up meeting Mark Johnson, author and photographer of Argyle Armada. This book looks worthy of a check out. Here is the link to his website if you're ...

... for a big night by 6:30.  Somehow we managed to get away by this time and picked up a friend of Susan'son our way to Pacific Beach.  We made it to our destination only to be asked for ID, and passport ID was required, which of course we hadn't brought with us!  We all had dinner together and then Wayne and I went back to Encinitas while Susan and co enjoyed their night out.  I guess we should be flattered to be considered less than 30 (the age that people are ID'd up ...
