... a sports bar, a burger joint, sell 'slices' or takeaway tex mex. Finally found a little restaurant called the Green Flash on the beach front - so were able to watch the surfers and people walking, jogging, skating, skateboarding and roller blading. Both of us had fish for dinner - a nice change. I am a little sick of the fake politeness of the yanks. They all do the 'hi, how can I help you' but it lacks ...

... this afternoon, I pretty much had no clue why I was specifically asked to go and that made me a little nervous. But after my chat with my boss, who is over there right now, I feel like I could be a valuable asset, so I am feeling much better about going. It sounds like the Fleurus facility is a lot like our facility. Both were built about the same time and have a lot of long term people who have been doing there jobs for ...

Baja Adventures: Dana Point to La Paz

A travel blog entry by sloboda on Dec 24, 2011

... wonder for a second who they are and where they are headed, but the thought would pass just as quickly as the waves do, and soon it was just Sloboda again, the sea consuming all in sight. Minutes felt like hours, and hours like days, as this day we call perfection inched by. We changed watch, we ate the delicious fish we caught from the sea, we read more books, had more thoughtless conversation, and ...
