    ... of the original owner. Built iin 1880 was part of 600 acre estate, complete with tennis courts and 8 servants. They were housed on the top floor. Not surprisingly it is reputed to have ghosts and was recently occupied by a team of ghost busters looking to record any unusual happenings.

    In 1975 we spent a year on our sailboat in Mexico. We were in Cabo 3 times. Believe me, there is no resemblance to what it was like then and now.

    There were only 3 hotels there and the streets weren't paved. Now it is huge. Hotels, condos restaurants everywhere. When we were there, there were plans to build a marina. It is now filled with fishing boats.

    ... cool because it was tucked into a very small mountain range-cove. I walked the pier, grabbed a map from one the many people sitting around trying to sell you **** and head over to Cabo Wabo. Cabo Wabo is the bar that Van Halen opened up in the 1990's. I figure I at least better stick my head in there to see what was happening.     ... the dry, cacti covered countryside with vultures and frigate birds, a donkey or two, and some wild vegetation. They gave us a very tasty sample of a sweet tamale, burrito and sides at the Hotel California (made famous by the Eagles song). We are in blue and humpback whale, sea lion, dolphin and sea turtle territory now. We saw a huge sea lion leap on to the back step of a boat, wanting to be fed some fish. They obliged but ...
