We also payed to go in an actual Italian guys Ferrari and drive around the streets. This was absolutely, freaking crazy. Sliding around corners, reaching 240km/hr, weaving in to between cars at such high speeds and traffic lights.. It was nuts this guy was crazy. This was all in the streets of Abu Dhabi, in a 60km/her zone. Far ...

I put through my rucksack in one basket, my belt, watch, coat in another and my MacBook Air in a third and walked through the metal detector. It went off and I got scanned with a hand wand, frisked etc. They then called me over to unpack my ruck sack which I was happy ...

There's something rather exciting about getting to play tourist in a city where you live. Though I spent my first couple of days in Dubai seeing some of its most famous sites, it wasn't until the end of the year that I had the opportunity to embrace the tourist side of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. When I started this blog, I didn't imagine I'd write a travel entry for my new home city but I promised to write about my adventures and one week strolling ...
