    From Port Rashid where we were docked, we could see the Burj Kalifa and quite a few tall buildings.





    Once we were out of Port Rashid and travelling on Sheik Zayed Road, on the way to Abu Dhabi, in Dubai we passed many tall towers, hotels, offices, residential apartment complexes etc and could easily see the details of those buildings. ...

    ... Donut and Krispy Kreme cafes, an African grill, unwelcoming authentic French restaurants, frozen yoghurt stores and a 'something for everyone' food court.

    Just remember which of the three million exits you need to leave from to find your car, bus or taxi. It took pestering 4 security guards, 3 customer service desks and one valet worker (and 1.5 hours of my life!) to track down where to get the bus back to the Emirares village. Customer service minus the service.
