... Unfortunately the voucher also didn't include alcoholic beverages so we sipped a few samples at duty free and used the voucher on a snack and a coffee. On the plane the 6 hours went pretty slowly but eventually we arrived in Dubai. Here we got hopelessly lost in the airport trying to find our was to duty free - the airport was massive, we had to get a train just to collect our baggage! We then caught the metro to Al Rigga station which was 200m from our hotel. We emerged from ...

We caught a cab and met Hayley at Barasti Beach Bar for drinks and dinner. Hayley explained Tuesday night is ladies night in Dubai...However the beach wasn't Pumping. ... put on the maroon Qatar socks, eye mask and earplugs and took a sleeping pill. That was a fantastic flight, when I woke up I was already in Doha. On the second flight to Dubai, I had for the fourth time in my life, that delicious chicken wrap and some 45 min sleep.

Today, around 9:00 I landed in Dubai and few minutes later I came out with my luggage searching for my name written somewhere. When I found the driver and we got into the elegant and clean Mercedes, ...

Very late, quiet start to the day. Didn't wake up,until 10 and the kids not until 11 which must be a record! We watched a bit of TV and generally just enjoyed not going anywhere for a while. Went to the mall for breakfast/lunch and then back to the hotel to wait for our tour pickup. Left the hotel just before 4 in nice Toyota land cruiser, and headed up the motorway for nearly an hour. Power pylons everywhere and they went for miles! Also, hundreds ...
