      ... time in the sun trying to bake it out of me. I felt better by noon and headed to the Archeology Museum. I was waylaid by an adorable shop in the port called "Museum."       We headed out of town to Achilleion Palace, the retreat for the Empress Elizabeth of Austria. We had learned about her life when we were in Vienna last year. She built this house in Corfu in late 19th century style and decorated it with Gods of Ancient Greece, primarily Achilles for which the palace is named.       We arrived in Corfu in quite heavy rain. We had organized a hire car for €43 which was very reasonable, and decided we would continue on with our plans. We drove to Paleokastritsa Bay which would have been beautiful on a nice day with a very rugged coastline and beaches.
