    Basic but does the job

    from

just back from a week at the flamingo playa . room was pretty basic but had just about all you need. they do have great balconies which get the sun all day that was the best bit . never tried the food or entertainment , there is a great bar along the road . the titanic, great food . i would go back to the flamingo as long as the price was right .

    Great holiday

    from

Me and my family have just back from flamingo playa, we stayed there from 07/08/04-22/08/04. I cant really complain about the hotel as we had no problems(apart from the scottish lads coming in early hours and throwing themselves in the pool). The only thing i will complain about is the lifts in the main block, they were dodgy!! We even got stuck in it one night coming back from the pubs, then when we finally got out the security accused us of jumping in the lift!!!!! plus there was no air conditioning. Bar staff were lovely&friendly apart from paco(the boss i think) he never smiled and when you asked him to smile he just shook his head. Our entertainer Chris was great, especially with kids. The kids club was closed which was ashame!!!!!!!!!!!!, as i have a 6yr old and a 3yr old. Thought benidorm was ok but wouldnt go back for 2 weeks. But defo go back to flamingo playa.

    Loved it

    from

We enjoyed the hotel so much that we are going back in August, it will be our third stay in 18 months all the staff are wonderful even the night porter who was very polite every night, we enjoy the place very much

    Great place

    from

myself and a female friend has just stopped in the flamingo playa hotel. i found the accomodation very nice, the place was clean, the rooms spacious and staff lovely. we actually stayed in the joining building the annex but this is still part of flamingo playa. i enjoyed my stay there and would recommend the place to anyone, the building is situated just the right distance away from the pubs and clubs. the hotel bar is nice for families but for young adventurers like ourselves it was better on the square. overall i enjoyed our stay.

    Concrete Jungle

    from

We stayed at the Flamingo Playa from the 1/4/04 till 8/4/04. The apartments are in two blocks beside each other, we were in the smaller block(only 13 floors, main block has 23 with 3 lifts). I thought this might be a problem with the lifts but there are two on our block, which worked fine. The rooms were ok(one bedroom with two single beds, large bathroom, entrance hall/area,living room/kitchen with only one lounger for 4(2 adults & 2 kids) to sit on/lounger can be turned into bed for child + bed can be pulled out from underneath for 2nd child(bit of a pain every night). The good thing was there were 2 sets of patio doors the one in the bedroom making it easier to sit out on the balcony late at night without disturbing the kids. The only major problem we had with the room was the shower tap was broken. We reported this to the rep at the welcome meeting and again a couple of days later but wasn't fixed by the time we left. There are two outdoor pools both with kids pools 0.6M these were clean the areas around the pools were clean. Staff were friendly, On site supermarket a little expensive but there is another one two minutes walk next to the titanic bar(which has ok meals).

Overall it was an ok place to stay in.Whether i'd stay again I don't know I just didn't enjoy benidorm as a place/ probably would if it was a lads holiday certanly was plenty of pubs within 5mins walking.

    I went there on 2 - 9 march 2004..

the place was lovely, the staff were polite and the rooms were nice! I would recommend it.

    Flamingo playa appartments

    from

Myself, partner and 9 year old went to benidirm on 7/02/03 for 2 weeks and overall it aws agreat holiday had 2 really hot days and spent them on benidorms two excellent beaches.benidorm is a place for anyone of any age with a wealth of things to do ans see. looking at previous reviews the flamigo player appartments are much improved.the appartment was clean and spacey with a nice balcony and we had clean linen twice a week.Very handy for getting round and they had a great kids club twice a day .the only downside is the entertainment which is really only any good if you are under 12 they really need to do something however in all good value and i would recomend Benidorm to anyone

My Time At The Flamingo Playa

    from

Went to Benidorm Sept 2003, and was not really pleased about the place, The Bar Staff were great, The Entertainers and Reps were great, The Day reception staff were great, but the night security guards were a bit stroppy, we weren't allowed to talk in in the vicinity of the hotel on a night, they went as far as spraying us with CS gas one night, but all in all i didn't think much of the accomodation, the only good bit about it was sitting in the bar having a laugh with the bar staff and the entertainers and reps, the entertainment was good, but I preferred going out on a night, all in all I had a good holiday, I would go back to Benidorm again but not to the Flamingo Playa hotel

    Lovede the sun

    from

my family and i stayed at the flamingo playa ,,,and it was our first trip abroad,,,the rooms were basic but catererd for our needs.we enjoyed it but there wasnt much for the kids except the pool,,,the entertainment was ok but not brilliant and we didnt no we would be sharing a pool with a bunch of drunken louts all day who thought it would be good to play in the pool at 4 in the morning and sleep all day in the pool,,i would go back to benodorm no problem but dont think i will stay at the flamingo playa again

    Excelent for familys

    from

While the big girls are at camp, mom gets Tessa time! It is so awesome and unusual to have many hours to kill alone with Tess. We frequent the library, the market, neighborhood parks, and internet cafes where Tess watches a show while I do my Edgewood work.

resourceful, being patient, understanding how small your world really is, and realizing the value in speaking Spanish!

Yesterday we came up from the beach, exited the elevator, and what do I see on the rug in front of our door? My orange tank top! We all did a celebration dance. Like many other “things” from our American life, I appreciate it more having been without.

... The next drama was the electricity suddenly going off. We checked the electricity switchboard, but nothing had tripped. Five minutes later the power was back on. Obviously just the town supply trying to frighten us.

With the Wi-Fi running, there followed a rather tense collection of emails with London, which, among other things, led Dianne to check her Junk emails on the iPad, and found considerably more information about how to contact the cleaner on our ...
