Since today is Sunday, the tours are closed, I decided to go wtih Angela to the Sunday morning mass. The Catholic church is next to this beautiful coconut grove. I am surprised to learn that the Catholic weekly mass the same around the entire world..wow so that means we can attend Sunday mass even if we are traveling.
This morning Angela and I took a ferry from Lahaina Harbor to Kaunakakai, the largest city on the island of Molokai. ... walk. The driver said that Lana'i didn't have a MEO bus and it wasn't like the MEO bus on Moloka'i, but a charter. She picked up the disabled couple she was waiting for, and still gave me a ride to the beach and campground anyway. :) She was so sweet.
Hulopo'e beach on Lana'i rates as one of the world's top 10 beaches and it does not disappoint. But, I couldn't get there just yet, as I had to set up camp at the campground only 50 ...

found a really cool beach with large waves to tackle. The girls English got a lot better once she got comfortable and practiced a little, so our guilt started to fade. Tim's driving made her feel sick though, but I am fairly certain it was just Tim's general presence which did that.

How has this condo rated in the past?
Beautiful ocean view. NO AC super HOT. The living room stunk like something just died, well after some short investingation, a dead rat. Call front service, no response. Next morning the maid came to clean up said we put the rat there ??? They she said the rat is normal, they don't cause diseases ??? What ??? The front desk don't care about the customers, as soon as we arrived there were already people at the front desk complaining, she looked at them and sneered ??? DO NOT STAY HERE !!!
