... walls could talk... They have restored many of these big, old homes that must have been owned by the richest Texans as summer vacation homes. The architecture was so detailed and people are doing all the intricate rehabilitation on these houses. Beautiful.

We did not wander downtown. Galveston is a big place with a wide variety of things to do and see. I see why young people are drawn to this area.
