    ... food on the end of the rod. It was quite fun as they jumped up and grabbed it viciously. You would not want to mess with one! After a few hours of being engrossed in all of this we headed home as we had a big drive to New Orleans the next day. It was about 4 hours to New Orleans and we had to drop the car back to the rental company which was a bit sad! I think we had worked out that it had been 3500 miles ...

    Sorry this is a bit late, we've been pretty busy in New Orleans and been moving around. But hectic is fine since we did SO much relaxing in Florida! The 6 and a half hour journey from North Georgia was hard, but we crossed through Alabama (another one to tick off) and the end result was so worth it.     ... disappointed they can't join us, and Maxwell and Esme are disappointed Tommy won't be offering wake boarding lessons...I think I am better off for not being tempted to learn how to wakeboard from a 14-year old with no fear and better healing capabilities.

    183 miles today and cool. Time zone change too. This morning I was checking FaceBook and there was a post honoring Navy SEAL Danny Dietz who sacrificed himself to save others in Afghanistan 10 years ago today. We should never forget those who have given their lives for this country or those who have given their service to keep our lives free to enjoy.
