On our ferry trip from Rhodes to Crete a man fell from another boat, into the sea. It was 10.30 at night and our ferry was the closest, so we had to turn our Ferry around and help him. We got a phonecall in our cabin asking Dad to move his car which was parked downstairs because it was blocking the emergency door. The boat guys had to throw ropes to the man, and then a helicopter came and picked him up. Mum and I were a little bit scared, and glad when it was all over.

We were all miserable when we walked ...

... south and dropped down into a beautiful little seaside town called Myrtos. One that I've heard and read about a few times. Once parked we walked into the town from the east and strolled through the small back streets. I saw the church with the red roof but sadly through the years building and trees have blocked the view there once was back in the late 70's. We continued walking a with the help of Nick's ...

... nap, which is exactly what we did by the pool of our hotel until later in the evening. For dinner we eneded up just eating some feta, olves etc that we bought from a local supermarket. It was the perfect ending (we can't eat big EVERY meal here in Greece, well each have to buy an additional seat for the way home! Tomorrow we are doing the Palace of Konosis and Crete wine country (and some cave, guess who's idea that is ;) ) More then, ...
