As of 12:05 pm Central Time- my mom and I will be taking off for Beijing, China; officially leaving behind my home, my friends, my Dingo Dog and Taco Kitty for the next 4 and a half months. Chicago is also a lot more relaxed than NYC (think Cape Town vs Joburg). Lake Michigan is the 'coast' of Chicago, which separates it from Michigan.
