As much as we hoped to have no fixed plans for this trip we have booked the next two weeks. As the school holidays are starting soon we are finding it harder to get a nice caravan park for the days we want.

... 6/8 and the kids are coming up for a long weekend in Port Douglas on the 24/7. So, we made some decisions. We decided we would head back up to the northern part of the Atherton tablelands until Port Douglas and we would spend five days back at Palm Cove preparing for the Landcruiser club trip. (We were able to get an unpowered site only for this period, so there better still be lots of sunshine for the solar power.) That leaves about a week in between with no plans; just the way we like ...
