... It was lovely seeing some more familiar faces and sharing in the excitement of our journey.

We explored the area a little more with a day drive with Brendt and Molly up to Maroochydore and Mudjimba, and then out through some gorgeous countryside to the Big Pineapple. We always love our day drives!

All in all it was great half week we spent here, and it is definitely a place I would like to holiday at again.

It was a beautiful, sunny morning in Venice so we decided to walk to Santa Monica to complete a few chores which included groceries for tea and some banking. Down here it's a slightly incongruous affair, hankering after a Victorian British/European tradition that seems ...

After packing up the van till late last night - we headed off this morning - Struddy's all very excited to be back on the road. We met up with most of the crew at Kilcoy. Headed onto Yarraman to meet the rest - then onto Miles where we are set up for the night at the ...

... at the top end of that. I had already walked 6.6km by the time I finished the coastal walk, so hungry! The weather was hot and sunny and views stunning. I then wandered around Hastings St (the main shopping street by Main Beach) and ate a Subway (cheapest thing going and Noosa is too upmarket for Maccas!). I then walked (up more hills!) to Noosa Junction, and then back ...
