... quite rare. Finally, we were headed towards Vegas and had another 150 miles to go in the dark through a desert with all kind of windy roads and hills. It was not fun, but after 3.5 more hours, we did make it. We got into Vegas at 8:00 and stayed at the Riviera. The Riviera is at the old end of the strip near the stratosphere. It was chugging along to the point where I started to laugh uncontrollable and asking what he was doing, until we got close to where Jason had to turn the ...

After a long drive all the way around Yosemite national park, and after another appearance by Steve Erwin, we found the entrance to the park. The drive was long but beautiful through snow capped mountains. AK and SJ stopped to have a play in the snow and found that in parts it was knee deep! SJ was a bit nervous when AK was driving close to the edge of the cliffs as it was a pretty long drop off one side! There was loads of wildlife which made SJ very happy. ...
