... We eventually came to the place where the mountains met. We drove through the Sierra Nevada mountain passes for many miles. The road was good with frequent passing lanes to get around slow trucks, or for others to pass us. The landscape became alternately rolling mountains and stark rocky cliffs. ... and although was off the pass, my brain couldnt comprehend that there were no drops on the edge of the road. We eventually get to the outskirts of Mammoth Lakes, and I was driving along when I see something on the road. I swerved, but to be honest, I think I overcompensated because of the day that I had, and managed to not hit a coyote on the road. We eventually got home, and I couldn't have been more happy!

... was a cute little face hiding behind our food locker. SJ being SJ was trying to coax him out and to her suprise he came right over looking for food! He even ventured into the tent and rumaged in the bin! As he is already very tame SJ decided to give him a few cheerios which he loved.
