    ... squeals and giggles as we talk about our plans. He has requested to go to three places: Publix, Mexico and Outer Space.

    He's nothing if not ambitious. However, a little creative thinking might get him all the things on his travel wish list... hee hee.

    He is also more than a little fired up to go to Washington D.C. -- one of our stops later in the week. Not sure he gets the whole gist of what D.C. is, but as a kiddo who knows the Pledge ...

    Today we headed to the Beach at Siesta Keys, I'm not a particular fan of flat white beaches where the only thing to do is swim around in a flat sea, then sitting around on a beach getting sand in everywhere and boiling alive. (which means funnily enough I actually prefer going to the beach in Britain, where there are waves, cliffs and its absolutely freezing) And I wasn't hugely impressed that was exactly how it turned out. ...

    ... of the beautiful parts of Canada. My actual plan has us arriving in Alaska with 4 days left to our vehicle turn-in!

    I enjoyed reading the various blogs and they have been very helpful in planning our route and also anticipating some of the issues we may encounter. My blog will be a bit different though.
