... Alamo rental car and head west right into the storm front. By the time i reach the top of the Rockies the weather is appalling. Next to zero visibility, plenty of snow falling. Finally make it to Breckenridge, which looks very pretty as the whole area is covered in snow.

... on the other Loveland base (Loveland Valley). We were skiing on Loveland Basin. So we decided to connect at the bottom of Loveland Basin. As they were skiing down to the base - Vienne lost control and went into the trees and hit a tree head on. The ski patrol had to get her out of the trees as she suffered a concussion. They took her via ambulance all the way back to the Denver children's hospital in Aurora. ...
... A cute place, pretty small, friendly staff. Looked in a few stores on Main Street, including a great little used book store called Ole Man Berkins - I couldn't help but buy a couple of books. Back to the condo, then on to the slopes. We did a few green runs, then up to the top of Peak 9 and came down Bonanza (blue) on to some greens (Lower American) etc. Then dressed for dinner and walked to Briar Rose Chop House - excellent! ... of exposure and no soil, just rocks as terra-firma . Couple of mountain goats, natural mountaineers, showed up at the same time as if to show us how to balance and climb on those rocks. Much appreciated, but we as humans don’t have
hoofed legs or the innate sense of balance that they have.
