We were up early and off to Animal Kindom at WDW. It was boiling hot even at 8am. We got to the park at about 825 and they opened the gates at 845. It felt pretty busy. We made a beeline to Kilimanjaro Safaris in Africa first. I like to go on that early in order to see the most animals. We walked on more or less and there were plenty of animals out in the gamelands, perhaps not as many a in Sptember. We saw hippos, ...

... glimpses of NYC on the way out of the city, over the bridge to Queens and lastly somewhere through the outskirts of the Bronx :( Arrived at the airport a couple of hours before my flight to Orlando. Well it ended up being about 4 hours early due to plane delays. Better late than never. As we flew further south I could no longer see any frozen lakes. So I knew we were heading into warmer weather, and sure enough, as soon as I stepped off the plane ...

... Our favorite ride was Space Mountain. Had dinner, a few more rides and waited in line at Space mountain again only for it to break down. We then had an ice cream and sat and watched the night parade before getting our spot to watch the fireworks at 11:30. They were amazing and worth waiting for. After the fireworks we went to the shop and bought some presents and memorabilia before catching the mono rail and then the bus back to our accommodation. A full 14 hours at Disney ...

The night before we had been saying how annoying wait times are at theme parks. Josh added a story of his friend that went to Alton Towers with his injured girlfriend who had a swollen ankle from a bee sting, she was given a wheel chair by the park; because she had a wheelchair they were both able to jump to the front of the queues not having to waste anytime queuing. We entered Universal Studios at 10am. George played the injured person who had hurt his ankle falling off a kerb ...

    ... for four.

After lunch we headed back to Epcot to try and cover the stuff we had missed on Sunday. You can spend a lot of time at this park, just because there is so much stuff just to look at. A day alone could be spent exploring the different "countries". Then there are the interactive displays at the end of a lot of the rides, and the Innoventions buildings to explore too.

We started off with the Spaceship Earth ride and the kids played around ...
