          ... in total, first 18 were tame in lagoon golf, however the last 18 in mountain golf were a real challenge.

          It was great to have a laugh, as we ribbed each other during each game, there were some funny moments, especially when the ball returned to the same spot after putting and surprisingly Dad and I got an eagle on a hole each, where we only took one swing and it was in the hole.

          First 18 holes - Dad won, then it went me and then Mum, Second 18 ...

          The only real issue I had in Port Alberni is that the lens of my film reflex camera died. With the help of another backpacking photography lover I went to all possible stores in Alberni, all pawn shops and second-hand stores in the area to try to find a replacement for my lens, a real treasure hunt!           ... has broken that trust! It a great revelation! So in the last 3 weeks of our trip we may stay with some more complete strangers, we may get something stolen, but it all in all the trip has restored my faith in good people!
          Today we left Tofino for Port Alburni, just a quick stopover before heading back to Victoria today! We’ve been hit with a sudden heat wave though! 27 degrees today! And its only going in increase! We will look forward to some sun!
