    Very bright, very early. Tide was out when we woke up. It goes in out every 12 hours. When it came in last evening the water was like a bath from the tide coming in 1 km on the very hot sand.     ... in total, first 18 were tame in lagoon golf, however the last 18 in mountain golf were a real challenge.

    It was great to have a laugh, as we ribbed each other during each game, there were some funny moments, especially when the ball returned to the same spot after putting and surprisingly Dad and I got an eagle on a hole each, where we only took one swing and it was in the hole.

    First 18 holes - Dad won, then it went me and then Mum, Second 18 ...

    The only real issue I had in Port Alberni is that the lens of my film reflex camera died.
