    ... a burger. Not the kangaroo burger, but I thought about it.

    We went to Alexanderplatz which had a store and I got some sunglasses for my friend and Mom got some stuff too. Then we took a taxi home and now we're writing this.

    ... I visited this area several times when the wall still existed. To see it now without that barrier is unimaginable. Then although it was considered an open street, the wall sitting right along the fronts of the former houses along one side, rarely a car ever drove down it. Now it's a busy connector between this area and the next as it may well have been before the war. There are quite a few plaques to read there but we did not stop to read them all. ...

    Rise and shine in our services near Frankfurt, the Sign had promised mc'd's but alas just expensive coffee shop on offer. Owen decided to fire up the gas in the van which worked brilliantly and hot free coffee was had by all.
