    ... settled during the Bronze Age, 3000 BC. What remains today are ruins of a spiritual/cult community honoring a feminine deity, the temple to the goddess of witchcraft, Hecate.

    ... budget tickets a few days before you travel. My plan was to go by train from Athens to Thessaloniki as it is a well documented route and sounds great. My ticket cost me €29 but if you book earlier 3/4 weeks in advance you can get some tickets for just €9. Thessaloniki is going to be fun to stay tuned for that one.
    Tomorrow I fly from Rhodes to Athens and into the madness of city life... I wonder if it can handle ...

    ... good and I resisted. I also saw a car crash where the two people got out their cars shouted at each other then got back in and drove off. There seem to be no car parks here or parking tickets as zebra crossings, corners, roundabouts and pavements are a free for all. I went into the archaeological centre and me at six euro it was steal. Now I'm not one to have much of an interest in these things but with pottery from 630BC and some amazing historical findings I spent over 2 hours ...

    ... the flight or the check in closed. I fly in 4 hours....
