... purse. I still don’t regret it at all. After I found my purse, Katy found one she liked as well, so we both left with new purses. We went to grab a bite to eat at a little restaurant right down the street from our hostel, then went to pick up Steve. That night, we basically just chilled out, got settled, and caught up with stories from Rome and Poland (where Steve had been).
The second day Ali and Kelsa were coming in the late ...
... Cranberry Sauce, Stuffing, Potatoes, and Mixed Vegetables. For dessert pumpkin pie, ice cream, and apple cider! It was nice to spend the night with classmates and a few professors.
Friday night, we had yet another Thanksgiving with all of my friends. Everyone prepared their favorite dish and we spent the night telling stories of our families Thanksgivings.

Deux grand jardins qui a cette date n'ont plus autant a offrir qu'en ete. il n'y a plus de fleur, et la moitie des arbres n;ont plus de feuille, mais on a pu constater l'ampleur de la propriete en passant tout l'apres midi a ...
Florence, Tuscany, Italy frdrick... since some monks were on the site a few hundred years ago.
Walked around Baboli Gardens which were pretty stunning and crazy to think they were someones backyard at one stage.
After dinner with Zoe, Nonie, James and Kerrin we walked around looking a bar and then when we found it didn't like it so just got 3 bottles of wine for 10 Euro and headed back to the hostel - only to see 4 bottles for 10 Euro around the corner!!!
Hi Everyone!
After an exhausting weekend in Brussels, I was in for yet another treat with cooking classes in Florence. Organized by my school, a group of us met with a chef for some lessons.
We were taught how to prepare typical Tuscan cuisine including Ribollita and Stuffed zucchini-flowers.
Everything was delicious & I look forward to trying these recipes at home!

... of weeks--anyway coming to Florence in the next 2 weeks has got to go!! :) I think we all danced until we were literally dripping in sweat...but when Crazy in Love is on, who isn't going to have fun?!!? Of course the Italian guys were loving it....they weren't joking in the orientation when they told us that "women" are the national sport of Italia...but we all stuck together and had a really fab night...we got back to the Villa at like 3 in a few cabs...little known fact, in Florence ...
Florence, Tuscany, Italy thea.de.medici... little nightcap glass of the house dolce wine. THE BEST EVER. It was similar to a fortified wine like Muscat or Port, but was just a sweet, gorgeous red wine.
We went back the next night to purchase a bottle of the stuff, but they only used it in house and didn't have bottles. the ladies were kind enough to pour their stash into a water bottle and still gave it to us! Went down very nicely with our Viennetta the next night.

So for those who think travelling is glamorous and exciting here's what we have been up to for the last week or two. We first spent a few days in Rome organising our visas for India after flying from Valencia. The place we stayed at had foam matrasses and we weren't allowed to use the kitchen, so it kinda sucked. All of the infomation we could get from the internet said we could apply, and most probably get, six month multi entry visas for India. If we got those we ...
Florence, Tuscany, Italy shaunandlisa... asking various people about how we got tickets, we got in line and waited for somewhere between ½ hour and forever. The busses were packed like sardines, but they were smaller, so they didn't hold a lot of people. Some couple tried to cut into line in front of Amber. Of course, I wouldn't have that. The guy behind us started yelling at them, but they persisted. I deliberately, but slyly angled myself so that they could not get by and had Amber do ...
Florence, Tuscany, Italy alinamarie06... The Monument to Dante Alighieri (poet) is outside Santa Croce Church. We admired the outside architecture of the Palazzo Vecchio, the sculptures of Hercules and Cacus and the replica of David at the entrance to the Palazzo Vecchio and the Fountain of Neptune. By the time we were done touring the Uffizi, we were tired and dizzy that we decided not to go to the Academia. We explored the San Lorenzo Market instead where we got some Italian leather goods.
