Cruise Phase 1
Our cruise started in Venice on 4 October. The Oceania Rivera was all that we thought it would be. Our stateroom is spacious and very well fitted out. As with all rooms on this particular ship, we have our own balcony where we can sit and enjoy the passing scenery. There are numerous restaurants at which to eat. Santorini Port is buzzing big time with heaps of tourists, tour buses, local buses, touts, scooters, mad drivers, ...

We find a couple of travel agents to buy some ferry tickets for tomorrow from Heraklion to Mykonos without any success. One agent in town of Kissamos tells me that they are booked out. For some reason we didn’t believe her. Well we don’t want to spend another night in Heraklion. We get ...
