I think that if I could wake up every morning, sit on my balcony and watch Stockholm's outer and inner islands pass me by I'd probably never have another bad day. Some islands have just a few trees and birds, others a house, some are big enough for a neighbourhood - each is interesting and beautifully presented.
After the ship docked we wandered into Stockholm and found the city awake ...

... s so cold, so it was to be a swim then get changed and go inside again. It was forecast to be 16, so I'd dressed a bit more summery. Ron got a shock when he got into the pool he'd been in previously. It was cold! He was expecting it to be heated, so we were unsure what had happened.

A little afternoon nap, and we were all go again. We dock at Copenhagen at 7.00 am, so presume it will be another early start - we don't find out ...

... we woke there were already children putting their sled to the test . Their cries of delight confirmed the snow was up to the job, as their sleds carried them down the small slope behind our home..
