... over globalisation etc and the answer lay in- dum da dum- Marks and Spencers food hall! That great bastion of British commercialism that has thankfully been underrated and therefore rejected by the rest of the world...French, Spanish etc, they may mock our cuisine and turn their continental noses up at the dubious delights of minced pork encased in jelly and deep fried in a pastry case, but M&S ...
Birmingham, England, United Kingdom lisaviro1981... first one to sleep. The lights were still on when I slept and I thought that my roomies needed the light to read or do their things so I didn't do anything. However, at around 12am (when the kids noise finally subsided after a few talks by me), the lights were still on and the mad thing is that everyone else were asleep!! The last person who needed the light cannot be bothered to switch it off!! My goodness!! Some of the rather sleep with the blanket over their head than ...

... Mews. They have a lovely one bedroom upstairs apartment. Nathan and I sleep on a blow-up bed behind the map divider in the lounge. The map divider is great – wallpaper of the map of the world. Makes you want to explore the world. Had a dinner of Roast Chicken and veggies – all premade and just heated up. So yummy! In bed asleep by 8 pm UK time – 12 midnight Dubai time.
What a mad few weeks! I knew it would be like this....I gave my self 2 months to prepare for the big adventure but due to unforeseen circumstances it was not long enough, and there I was running around right till the last minute! I started packing my bag about 30 minutes before we left home... that says it all. The last few weeks have been great. Paint balling was one of the most memorable events, thank ...
