    ... Christmas decorations-a bit eager! Flyibg with British airways was a very different experience to Qatar, they were basically throwing alcohol at you! Flight was fine bar an aborted landing due to a plane on the runway , meaning we had to have a :go around', but i managed to keep my cool! Eight tiring hours later I was in Sydney, greeted by gaz.

    I like to spend the last day of my trips doing little. Since Singapore is known for its shopping centres I made that the focus of my day. I visited a few. I started at Suntec because this took me past the track as it was being deconstructed. It's a completely different vibe.     ... in other countries or decades, but not so much now. There was a white woman and local husband at the carnival with their cute kiddies. All five of them under the age of five. Oof. Two were twins and the rest just wee. The dad brought out a really cool toy he won at a game. It was a small tube of clear glue that he blobbed onto the top of a little plastic straw. Then he blew into the straw and actually inflated the glue into a hard sphere! It was like a pop-proof bubble! ...

    ... the Qantas flight I almost booked has been delayed due to mechanical problems. You never want to hear that about your aircraft really.

    So....it was a pretty good flight to Singapore. Even in economy, there was good food, nice wine and plenty of movies to watch. Even though some were bad so I only watched 20 minutes....eg Horrible Bosses 2. Unfortunately, we were surrounded by little people. So noisy. Parents....a plane is not the place ...
