To those of you who were maybe expecting more pictures, sorry but we were so busy and believe me, I was disappointed as well.
The days are all kind of a blur since I've waited a while to write about my trip but I'll try my best. I'm still really tired from the trip so I'll probably just ramble about a few random things.
... Souk is again quite a touristy hot spot, a covered market really with shop after shop of bling hanging in every window. Outside they display the daily rate of each gold carat so you can loosely work out how much it is all worth. Some displays are so ostentatious you're literally blinded! You have the usual suspects coming up to you as you mingle through the crowds offering "Prada, Gucci, Dior" bags and goodies down side streets "come lady, come" but after a ...
... I have lunch at Dubai Creek sitting on the rivers edge in a Turkish restaurant. The food was great and the iced coffee was even better. So calm and peaceful watching the river traffic and the Abra boats, which I took a ride on for a whole 30 cents.
Rest of the day is spent walking around Dubai Creek before heading back to pack for the flight home, which is rather depressing.

... here. They all have the same when you enter them. They provide a little safe haven. Mostly small with not much furniture. People travel a lot and therefore only take their most precious things. They provide an insight of that own nationality, or rather identity. They breathe a special atmosphere.
