For our last evening we had a little stroll around the village and Jayne bought some knick knackeries for the folks back home. As the local scran hadn't come up to scratch we decided on some Chinese food. We ended up in an authentic restaurant called Hong Kong 97, strange name but there you go. ... Coming back into port was fun, the captain had to time it right. The swells at the harbour entrance were pretty big now and he had to avoid doing the Hawaii 5-0 Surfing we'd done earlier on. He had to let the swell pass and get in before the wave came back at us. I enjoyed that although I don't think Jayne was too happy about it.

... There was a quiz going on and the winning team was ably assisted by Jayne & myself. They won hands down but didn't give us any credit for it or any of the Champagne that they won. Lesson learnt, knowledge is something best kept to yourself. We finished the night off with a couple of glasses of vino collapso on the balcony as the deluge had finally stopped. Tomorrow we were going to try and get out for some jolly japes on the high seas.

... far too many photographs as they are constantly changing in the different lights of the day.

Our first cultural visit was to the nearby Lidl supermarket, which gets glowing reviews in every guide pamphlet. Titter ye not.....it flogged excellent local products and the local Rosada Vino was 60 pence a bottle!!!!! So we stocked up along with local cheeses, bread and the various hams. All at very reasonable prices. ...

It was now time to march indignantly down to the Ryanair desk and shout at someone, but someone had beaten us to it and Ryanair were one step ahead of us all. There was no one working at the desk. The bloke in front us had a problem, his ticket had been issued with the wrong name on it, so he hadnt been allowed to board his flight. When thebattle hardened lady from Ryanair showed up, he was ...
