    ... br> The hostel offers free shuttles into nearby Hiawassee, GA, so after dropping out stuff off we headed into town for dinner. We ate at a country buffet where I ate an inappropriate amount of food, then headed down to the grocery store to resupply. I still have so much food that I really didn't need to get more, but I picked up some honey buns for breakfasts and some more candy bars for snacking.

    ... down the trail to get in another couple miles before turning in. Even though it was a gross, wet evening, it wasn't too bad out of the rain and taking to my fellow hikers.

    Woke up to another dreary day but it was warm. Biggest climb of the day was Blood Mountain. It went up about 1,000 feet but it wasn't too terrible going up, but going down was a different story. The climb down into Neels Gap was full of slippery rocks that made me lose my footing a couple of times. I planned on hiking past Neels Gap, but there is ...

    ... Cove Tennessee with Randy and Sherry. (Additional Blog with pictures will come soon.) The pictures with this entry were taken on the way up and while here.

    Spent Thanksgiving here. On Thanksgiving day we ate a buffet at Western Sizzler with 18 workers etc. from the campground, then on saturday the campground provided turkeys and everyone brought covered dishes and we all ate at the clubhouse.

    ... look just like lady bugs but they bite the **** out of you... it is super uncomfortable. I went up last so everyone else went through there nested area already. I guess they weren't so happy, they started to swarm around us. Grrrr it sucked.

    We decided to check out another area called the "Brick Wall." That, was more like it. It was a little crag hidden under the tree canopy, perfectly shaded. The routes were a little ********* this side. The easiest was a 5.9, so ...
