We drove through miles and miles of GMO corn, soybean, and canola fields to finally arrive in Denver. We stopped at a dispensary but it wasn't the wonderous candystore style shopping we'd imagined it to be. Everything was in sealed packages and you couldn't buy less than an eighth at a time. Oh well.

The girls and I took a mine tour today. It was on the list of things the girls really wanted to do before we leave. We went 1,000 feet into a mine and panned for gold!
