Noosa, the town of roundabouts!

A travel blog entry by kiladoug on Jun 21, 2014

... to the camper we decided it was time to head off, feeling not as let down by Noosa as we originally were, it had somewhat won us over, but unfortunately for it, it had stiff competition coming after Byron bay!! Oh and with reference to the roundabouts, another thing which drove us mad about Noosa, every 2kms there was a roundabout, for at least 30kms!! It just compounded the feeling that in Australia you are travelling for what feels like forever, but not actually going ...

So I walked back with him to say bye and to grab my towel and kindle to relax on the beach for the afternoon. There was quite a wind so I did get covered in sand but it was still lovely and relaxing listening to the sound of the waves and enjoying the sunshine - sorry Cornwall but I'm really not missing your cold wet weather in the ...

Determined to get some action

A travel blog entry by jackie.a0910 on Jan 27, 2014

... is what happened to Kerry. He passed out at the wheel while driving over the Wairau bridge.
I have told this story to an awful lot of people and not one person has reacted any other way but in total disbelief that a nurse could be so stupid to allow a patient to leave the hospital and drive him or herself home. Even more so one handed, late at night and after admitting to having hit his head. He could have had delayed concussion or ...
