... Michael stayed at the hostel to sort some things out on the computer. To hire the bikes for a day was only $2 and if you return them within half an hour it was free. So every 29 minutes we returned our bikes and then hired them out again meaning we didn't have to pay anything. Not bad! A little theatric but I was amazed. They had rapator, vultures, large eagles and the largest bird a condor, as well as mackaws and lerakeets, and cockatiels, all in flight. It was the highlight for me. The show ends with 2 guys feeding a huge saltwater croc. It just looked dangerous.

... we headed inland to Yandina and Wappa Falls. Not, as the name might imply, a huge falls but a very picturesque place. I imagine when the rains are heavy the river flows much faster. A great place for a picnic, nothing but a view and a cinder turning circle.Travelling south again back to Brisbane we passed Mooloolah Valley and passed around the Ewen Maddock ...
