Day 15 25th December Christmas Day. Got up made breakfast, salmon and scrambled eggs on muffins (we may be backpacking but our standards haven't slipped) then headed down to the beach for photos and a swim, the surf was rough mind, great for the surfers but not for swimming, it knocked you around a bit. We then took a drive in the sun listening to Christmas songs and took a walk along the river which was so nice, loads of family's out in the sun with ...

Obviously the main event of the day for me (and I think for Joe as well as I ...

... had dinner ready! A beautiful roast chicken (sitting on a beer can) with potatoes, carrots and onions! We took a seat in the lounge room for dinner, we had a few drinks and a nice quiet and relaxing night! Sophie: whilst I was trying to swat a fly I accidently smacked Daryl right in the 'privates' and although it was a little bit funny it did bring a tear to Daryl's eye and I was very sorry. Daryl: i felt sick! ...

      Noosa, the town of roundabouts!

A travel blog entry by kiladoug on Jun 21, 2014

... to the camper we decided it was time to head off, feeling not as let down by Noosa as we originally were, it had somewhat won us over, but unfortunately for it, it had stiff competition coming after Byron bay!! Oh and with reference to the roundabouts, another thing which drove us mad about Noosa, every 2kms there was a roundabout, for at least 30kms!! It just compounded the feeling that in Australia you are travelling for what feels like forever, but not actually going ...
