    ... by the sea and had fun people watching. I saw a couple that were playing with their cell pones and didn't look at each other, nor speak for a good half hour. Dang, wassup wit dat ??.

    Soon it was time to motor back home to ol Charlie and relax a bit before it got dark. I did walk across the foot bridge on the resort and over to the little island. It is a peaceful place and I'm glad I spent a few days there. I may even come back one ...

    ... of Florida. Tomorrow we should be able to see the Everglades and, if all goes well, end our day in Key West!     The last few days it has been in the high 40s at night and low 50s during the day here in Florida and it feels COLD. I know that sounds ridiculous because low 50s at home right now would seem balmy. Maybe it's the difficulty of trying to resolve the visual cues of bright sunshine and palm trees and sensory cues of cold temperatures. Anyway...the cooler weather underlined the differences ...
