    ... fun. After tea me, Emily, Sofia, Betina, Joe, Ros and Hikarou headed to the beach to crack the Asti open, stare and the stars and have a laugh. Was lovely, although we could see the wild fire clearly from the beach which was upsetting. I had an amazing day topped off by an a amazing evening it was time it hit the sack. Another little surprise was waiting for me in the tent...balloons..so cute and fun :) Loved my day so fun ...

    ... and then drove to a place that supposedly had tubing. Like in Reno the place was closed. I don’t feel we have done enough activities so far and I don’t know if we have enough planned, I know this trip isn’t going to be as adventurous as the last but I don’t want to go home having only drank and looked at cities and parks. I suppose the car alone is something different though.

    ... the family. There was a box that I didn't remember. Apparently my husband ventured back to Virginia City and bought a gorgeous and rare Sacred White Buffalo necklace from the Dry Creek Turquoise vein. It was such a surprise that I will treasure forever.

    ... I get the "slow down, bend ahead" treatment. Finally we get to South Lake Tahoe and our hotel overlooking the lake. How fab is this??? They've upgraded us to one of their best rooms and all is bliss. We eat at the hotel restaurant, Jimmy's and have a great meal overlooking the lake and without noticing, consuming two bottles of Semillon from Sonoma.
