The day started with a trip to the Butterhorn Bakery for the girls and I. Amazing breakfasts!!! Brian had to get "back to work" after two days off. The kids and I explored a few parks in town. We took a ride to Loveland Pass and ended up walking around the outlets before crashing. A great, restful ...

I saw people coming down that seemed like they'd been through no activity at all, and most had dogs. Some had backpacks attached to their dogs so the dog carried their water and food. It sounds like if you had ...

I will mention that the aid stations were well stocked so no issues with having to carry a lot of food around with you so after refueling we started the descent. Pretty quickly we began to hit speeds of 30 mph and higher. Many people ...

... the cute town. We accomplished our goal, and found an adorable breakfast place with some fun feature coffees and the "best breakfast burrito ever" according to Brendan. After poking into way too many stores and stopping to take a ton of pictures, we discovered a hot air balloon launch site in nearby Fraser. Remembering our gift from Karyn's parents for our engagement, we were so ecxited to have an excuse to come back!
