    We are traveling a few more miles between stops, and staying fewer days. We traveled from Louisiana, through Mississippi, and into Pell City, Alabama this past week.     ... door campers. Danny and Angie cooked up a feast of catfish, chips, shrimp and grits and hushpuppies (a fried corn bread with onions and another type with jalapenos) which I really enjoyed. Apparently the soldiers used to make these and throw them to the dogs during the war to keep them quiet.
