Nothing to report from yesterday as it was an in-transit day from Hallstatt to Wein. Upon arrival we checked in and collapsed onto the queen sized **** sack before having a relaxing dinner in the Hotel Fleming's Deluxe restaurant. Today was another matter altogether. ... of the city. Almost all the city centre is a pedestrian zone with colourful buildings restored and painted after the grey of Communism left. Check out the pictures of some of the statues that pop up in the most unexpected places. And, yes, Mozart gave a concert here in 1762 at the request of the Hungarian nobility. Enough to earn him a plaque on the concert hall.
All in all it was a good visit.... if we ever get back this way I will be sure to spend a night ...
