... Bagels, so over to Rue Mont Royal for another 8 block market stroll to find St Viateur Bagels where Pat picked up a bagful still hot from the oven. Then a few blocks biking back to the van, some of it through Parc la Fontaine, a pretty little grassy treed multi-acre park with a couple of large ponds and surrounded by some lovely 19th C townhouses.
We set off westward in the afternoon and are at a nicely wooded private campground in the Oka area.

    Ah, love.

Being single in one’s forties can encourage an elaborate perspective on life. It’s a challenge just to stay happy and not get derailed by everyone around you who seems to have found and followed a more traditional path. On a good day, you ...

Everyone always stresses before going on vacation… As a flight attendant, I've seen so many nervous flyers and people panicking for no reason while boarding, during the flight and as they deplane. As soon as I had my boarding pass, all the stress in the world came off my shoulders. I guess it was my car who suddenly decided not to turn on when I had to run all my errands the day before my ...
