    ... made a change in destination from where we previously thought we would spend the night and chose the Camp Andre Campground just 20 minutes outside of Montreal to save a bit of money. Our Passport America card made it $16 a night but we had a 3 day minimum. If we stayed by the day, we would be paying $30 a night. We plan on staying 2 nights but it was cheaper to pay for 3 - go figure. The place is in Saint Philipp and there is nothing around but another 2 ...

    ... of radar controlled speed cameras along with a dramatic increase in traffic. A little adjusting was needed after spending so much time being the only (or near only) vehicle on the road.

    3 liters of water with Elixer proved sufficient as I emptied the Camelbak 15 min short of the destination. Granted the temps were in the mid to low 20s all day.

    ... br> At the start of Hwy 417 East there is a lot of cones and roadworks the autumn leaves here are changing to orange and reds would love to take a photo but it is constantly raining. The cars are flying passed us even in the pelting it is just like when we were driving to Niagara Falls minus the excessive traffic plus you don't see as many semi's or silly tourists like us.
