With the blue sky today I thought I would go back to The Botanical Garden and get some photo's that wouldn't be so dark. I wasn't completely happy with yesterday's photos. ... I stepped off the plane into muggy 28-degree heat and humidity. It was not an entirely pleasant feeling. My hair, which had been more or less behaving itself all trip, started to frizz up. And my eyes started to water almost immediately. Oh, hello allergies, I haven't missed you.

... they were leftovers from Expo 67 and a garden exposition called Floralies representing several countries. I think the plantings were very nicely done but the feeling of abandonment marred them. Plus it is off-season so tourist facilities were no longer open. Yet, the place was buzzing - with roller-bladers, cyclists and runners.
